Amazing little place, my chow mein came in a round plastic pot that I could microwave and reheat my food without having to transfer it on to a safe microwaveable container, which was very handy. My food itself was bigger than normal portions I get, and there was a lot of options of food to chose from. 😃

I have been enjoying Shangai house food since around 2011ish. Food has always been freshly made, absolutly delicious, portions are big and over time standards have not changed. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Since I'm not living around the corner anymore, we get delived, it's always on time and still warm. So thank you so very much for your hard work Shangai house people 😊

Just ordered for the first time... really impressed. Beef in black bean sauce cooked superbly... rib meat falls off the bone, best spring rolls & chicken balls I've tasted... every dish full of flavour. Quick delivery & too hot to eat straight away, as it should be. Great price, great food, great service 😊 thank you!

It was a 'must have a Chinese delivery' moment! The delivery companies have a limited selection so I took to trawling the Web. Shanghai had a number of very positive reviews so I rang up. No delay in response by a very friendly assistant who explained that they could deliver to Denton but there would be a surcharge which I was ok with. The food arrived hot within 35 mins (told it would be at least an hour). The ribs in sauce were fantastic; loads of them and lots of meat too. The House rice was also delicious and had a lot of varying meats and prawns. The duck with ginger and spring onions was not on the menu but they made it for me anyway (a little more duck would have been appreciated). Possibly the best delivered Chinese in years and will certainly use again! This is a cash only delivery so ensure you can cover it before ordering 😉
